We have been providing services and facilitating business with China since the early 2000s. We have delivered services for APEX, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, in Beijing. Since 2012, we have actively participated in negotiations to open the Chinese market to Brazilian beef. We bring all our experience, know-how, networking, and guanxi into our business to better serve our clients and boost trade between the countries where we operate and China.

We believe in the win-win principle and pursue mutual benefit through long-term partnerships.

We are a company specializing in services, consulting, and meat trading. We provide consulting services for the opening and reopening of Brazilian meat plants in China. Over the past three years, we have facilitated the negotiation of 500,000 tons of meat exports to China.

In 2024 alone, 150,000 tons of beef were traded through the Branexx Portugal trading operation.

About Ezequiel Pires

Founder and CEO

Ezequiel is a Brazilian businessman with more than 20 years of experience in agribusiness, specializing in trade relations between Brazil and China. Founder of Branexx Trade in 2015, which has become a global reference in consulting and specialized services in international meat trade.

In 2022, Branexx expanded to Portugal, reaching a turnover of US$155 million in the first half of 2025, with projections to hit US$500 million by year-end.. He led strategic initiatives with Apex Brasil and the China Meat Association, consolidating multimillion-dollar bilateral partnerships between major players in the Brazilian meat industry and major Chinese buyers.

Founder and CEO of Branexx, leading its expansion into Europe and Asia. He lived in Beijing for 10 Years. Fluent in five languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin), Ezequiel has a global mindset and a long-term strategic vision combined with rare expertise in the Chinese market, positioning himself as a transformative agent in the agricultural commodity export sector.
